NorthStar Gaming Holdings Inc. (TSXV: BET) (OTCQB: NSBBF) has announced the departure of Michael Moskowitz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chair of the Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Corey Goodman, the Company’s Chief Development Officer and General Counsel, has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Goodman, who co-founded NorthStar, brings extensive experience in online gaming, operational realignment, corporate restructuring, and capital markets to the role.
Goodman will work with the Board to refine the company’s cost structure, enhance operational discipline, and improve revenue and profitability.
Dean MacDonald, who has served on the Board of Directors since 2023, has been appointed Chair of the Board. Barry Shafran has resigned from the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Shafran served as Chair of the Audit Committee.
An announcement regarding the appointment of an additional independent director and a new Chair of the Audit Committee will be made once the Board has finalized its selection.
Dean MacDonald, Director, said that Goodman has been an essential contributor since the founding of the Company and that the Board has full confidence in his leadership and knowledge of the business. He added that Goodman’s balanced and disciplined approach will ensure continuity while the Company strengthens performance and positions itself for long-term growth.
