Scandium Canada Launches 2026 Diamond Drilling Program at Crater Lake Project
MONTRÉAL (QUÉBEC) — June 11, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Scandium Canada Ltée (TSX-V : SCD) announced today the launch of its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Crater Lake scandium project in Nunavik, Quebec. The program includes approximately 4,000 meters of diamond drilling, primarily focused on collecting a representative bulk metallurgical sample of the entire defined resource. This will be complemented by resource expansion drilling at the TG zone and exploration drilling at the Discovery zone.
Camp mobilization has been underway since late April, managed by Laurentia Exploration. Drilling is expected to commence in the coming weeks and continue until the end of August 2026. In parallel, WSP will continue its environmental assessment work from June to September, supporting the pre-feasibility study.
Key highlights of the program include dedicating 75% to 80% of the planned drilling, approximately 3,000 to 3,500 meters, to the collection of an 8 to 10-tonne bulk metallurgical sample. This sample will be representative of the entire defined resource and used to evaluate its variability. Camp mobilization began in late April, with drilling teams and equipment expected on site by June 20. Approximately 15% to 20% of the drilling budget, or 500 to 1,000 meters, is allocated to resource expansion exploration drilling, aiming to test the lateral extents of the 2025 mineral resource estimate, which remains open. The remaining drilling meters will be used for limited, shallow exploration drilling targeting the Discovery zone, located about 750 meters south-southwest of the TG zone resource.
WSP will also continue environmental assessment work from June to September, building on previous studies. This work includes flora and fauna inventories, fish habitat inventories, and hydrogeological and geochemical studies, all supporting the environmental evaluation for the pre-feasibility study. The WSP team is scheduled to arrive on-site on June 15.

The 2026 campaign is structured around three technical objectives: collecting the bulk metallurgical sample (approximately 3,000 to 3,500 meters) for metallurgical testing supporting a future feasibility study; resource expansion by testing the lateral limits of the 2025 mineral resource estimate; and regional exploration targeting the Discovery zone. Drilling operations are being conducted from the company’s existing exploration camp, with a maximum of 20 people on site and no new permanent facilities. Laurentia Exploration is managing camp logistics and the drilling campaign, with helicopter support for equipment and personnel movement.
Drill cores will be shipped off-site for geochemical analysis, with mineralized intervals sent for LIBS scanning and metallurgical testing. Analysis results are expected in the fall of 2026.
