Baru Gold Corp. Receives Confirmation of Complete Production Application for Sangihe Gold Project
VANCOUVER, B.C. — August 13, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Baru Gold Corp. has received confirmation from Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) that its application to commence production operations at the Sangihe Gold Project in Indonesia is complete. The company, through its 70%-owned Indonesian subsidiary PT Tambang Mas Sangihe (TMS), has submitted all requested documentation, including audited financial statements, tax compliance certification, and corporate structure information.
Management met with ESDM officials on August 12, 2026, to finalize the application process and discuss the anticipated timeline for final approval. ESDM confirmed that no further information is required from the Company. The ministry indicated that the application is currently undergoing its final internal processing steps.
While a final meeting with the Company might occur next week depending on ESDM’s internal requirements, the preference is to conclude the process without further consultations. Terrence Filbert, President and CEO of Baru Gold, expressed encouragement regarding the progress and the confirmation of a complete application. He stated the company is ready to proceed, with its team on-site at Sangihe working with the local community in preparation for operations.
