Sendero Resources Corp. Launches Interactive 3D Models for Peñas Negras Project
Vancouver, British Columbia — October 15, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Sendero Resources Corp. (TSXV: SEND) (FSE:9O40) has launched interactive 3D models of its Peñas Negras Project in La Rioja, Argentina, allowing investors and the public to explore the project’s geology and historical drillholes. The models are accessible on the Company’s website and do not require additional software, functioning directly within a web browser.
The interactive tools feature two main models: a comprehensive project-scale view of Peñas Negras and a detailed model of the La Ollita target. These models display four magnetic classes derived from Gaussian Mixture Model classification alongside historical drillholes, which are color-coded by copper-equivalent (CuEq) grade. This visualization allows users to understand the relationship between past drilling results and interpreted geological features such as lithocaps, root zones, and intrusions.
Users can manipulate the models by rotating, toggling layers, and creating custom cross-sections at any desired location. The models are built upon the 3D inversion of airborne magnetic data and its GMM classification. The four magnetic classes represented are GMM1, interpreted as a magnetically transparent lithocap; GMM2, representing magnetite-destructive alteration and root zones; GMM3, indicating the andesitic volcanic host rock; and GMM4, showing steep, pipe-like intrusions with strong magnetic responses.
Historical drillholes are plotted in their original 3D coordinates, with CuEq grades calculated using assumptions disclosed in a September 23, 2026 news release. Steven McMullan, P. Geo., a consultant to Sendero and a member of its Board, supervised the technical information and reviewed its accuracy. He is a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.
Jeremy Gillis, Interim CEO of Sendero, highlighted the transparency offered by the new models. “Anyone can explore it for themselves,” Gillis stated. “Investors can slice through the model, see where the historical drilling sits relative to the lithocap and the interpreted intrusions, and judge for themselves how much of the system remains untested.” He further noted that the models suggest the Peñas Negras project hosts a cluster of mineralized systems, suitable for both epithermal and porphyry-style mineralization, positioning it as a potential mineral district. The models are available at: https://senderoresources.com/projects/penas-negras/Interactive-3D-Maps.
The Peñas Negras Project, owned 100% by Sendero Resources Corp., is located in the Vicuña Belt of Argentina and focuses on copper-gold exploration. The project shares geological similarities with other deposits in the Vicuña Belt, and several porphyry and high-sulfidation epithermal targets have been identified. The project area covers 211.77 km², with an additional option to earn a 100% interest in eight more mining concessions totaling 91.7 km².
