Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) and Amazon Launch Luna Cloud Gaming on Xfinity Devices

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — December 15, 2025 — Leads & Copy —

Comcast and Amazon have launched Amazon Luna, a cloud gaming service, on millions of Xfinity TV and streaming devices in the U.S.

Xfinity customers with an eligible X1 or Xfinity Xumo Stream Box can access Amazon Luna by saying “Luna” into their voice remote and signing in with an Amazon Prime or Luna Premium subscription.

Amazon Luna offers Prime members access to over 50 games, including GameNight experiences optimized for in-person, party game play, utilizing mobile phones as controllers via a QR code scan.

Rogers is also launching Amazon Luna on its Entertainment OS-powered Xfinity Streaming devices today.

Xfinity’s TV and streaming devices will blend cloud gaming, live TV, on-demand content and streaming apps into a single interface, powered by Comcast’s Entertainment OS.

Comcast was the first in the industry to launch new technology that offers Xfinity customers a smoother gaming experience with less lag.

Cloud gaming traffic on Xfinity’s network has grown 30% in the past year and is projected to double every three years.

Entertainment OS powers devices from Comcast and its partners, including Xfinity and Xumo in the U.S., Sky in the UK and Europe, and Rogers and Foxtel.
