Eastfield Resources Ltd. Clarifies Details of Mineral Property Sale to Star Copper Corp.
Vancouver, B.C. — September 10, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Eastfield Resources Ltd. is clarifying details of a previously announced transaction involving the sale of its Zymo and Indata mineral properties. The company is providing further information regarding the sale of its 100% interest in the Zymo mineral property and its 95.3% interest in the Indata mineral property to Star Copper Corp. for 10,000,000 shares of Star Copper.
This transaction is classified as a Reviewable Disposition by Eastfield and is considered a non-arm’s length transaction. The connection arises because William Morton, who serves as President, CEO, and a Director of Eastfield, is also a Director of Star Copper. Mr. Morton has recused himself from any involvement in this transaction.
Contrary to any prior disclosure in Eastfield’s June 30, 2026 news release, the company stated this transaction is not a related party transaction. Furthermore, no finder’s fees will be paid in connection with this deal.
Eastfield will be seeking written consent from at least 50% of its disinterested shareholders to proceed with the transaction, as required by applicable TSX Venture Exchange Policy. The transaction also remains subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
