ZincX Resources Corp. Closes Private Placement, Raises $1.82 Million

Friday, September 11, 2026 — Leads & Copy — ZincX Resources Corp. announced the successful closing of its non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of $1,820,000. The offering consisted of 15,166,667 units at a price of $0.12 per unit.

Each unit comprises one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. Each warrant grants the holder the right to purchase one common share at $0.30 for 18 months. The company may accelerate the expiry date of the warrants if the volume weighted average trading price of its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange is at least $0.45 for 20 consecutive trading days, beginning more than four months after the closing date. The acceleration would be effective not less than 21 days after notice is provided to warrant holders.

Proceeds from the private placement are earmarked for advancing ZincX’s Akie and Kechika Regional projects in British Columbia and for general working capital. No finder’s fees were paid in connection with this placement.

All securities issued are subject to a statutory hold period that expires on January 12, 2027. The private placement is also subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange. The company noted that the securities have not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in the United States or to U.S. persons without compliance with registration requirements or applicable exemptions.

The company also welcomed Dr. Quinton Hennigh as a participant in the financing. Dr. Hennigh, an exploration geologist with over 40 years of experience, currently serves as CEO of San Cristobal Mining and manages his mining investments through his private firm RC Initiatives. He expressed optimism about the potential of ZincX’s projects, highlighting the Akie property’s Cardiac Creek deposit and the broader Kechika Trough District’s geological similarities to prolific sedimentary basins.

Dr. Hennigh specifically noted the favorable metallurgy of the Cardiac Creek mineralization and its potential to host large-scale SEDEX Zn-Pb-Ag deposits. He pointed to the proximity of Teck Resources and Korea Zinc’s Cirque deposit, located 20 km from Cardiac Creek, suggesting a future role for ZincX in a major developing zinc mining center, especially given the current robust zinc market and anticipated supply constraints.

The Akie Zinc-Lead-Silver Project is a 100-per-cent-owned property within the Kechika trough, known for its sedex (sedimentary exhalative) zinc-lead-silver and stratiform barite deposits. Drilling by ZincX Resources since 2005 has identified the Cardiac Creek deposit within the Middle to Late Devonian Gunsteel formation.

Beyond the Akie project, ZincX Resources holds 100-per-cent ownership of a significant contiguous block in the southern Kechika trough, which includes the Mount Alcock prospect. The Kechika regional project also encompasses the Pie, Yuen, and Cirque East properties, where ZincX holds a 49-per-cent interest in partnership with Teck Resources Ltd. and Korea Zinc Co. Ltd., who hold the remaining 51 per cent. These properties extend approximately 85 kilometers northwest from the Akie property along the Gunsteel formation, a primary host rock for known sedex zinc-lead-silver deposits in the region. These projects are located about 260 kilometers north-northwest of Mackenzie, B.C.
