GSP Resource Corp. Reports Assay Results from Alwin Property Drill Campaign, Discovering New Upper Gold Zone

Vancouver, British Columbia — October 27, 2026 — Leads & Copy — GSP Resource Corp. has announced assay results for four diamond drill holes from its 2026 drill campaign at the Alwin Property, totaling 1,155 metres. The campaign was designed to target extensions of high-grade copper and gold zones at the Alwin Property, located in British Columbia’s Highland Valley Copper Camp. The Alwin Project currently holds inferred mineral resources of 1.46 million tonnes (Mt) with an average grade of 1.08% copper (Cu), equating to 34.6 million pounds of copper.

Additionally, assay results for four other drill holes, totaling approximately 651 metres at the Company’s Mer Porphyry Copper Target, are pending and expected in the coming weeks. The 2026 program marks the first drilling at Mer since 1971, when historic drilling defined a 70 x 120 metre porphyry copper-molybdenum zone, with some intercepts yielding 30 metres grading 0.53% Cu. Follow-up surface sampling in 2026 identified a 175 x 120 metre copper-in-soil anomaly that remains open to the northwest. Mer is situated 1.5 km northwest of Alwin and approximately six kilometres west of Teck’s Valley Pit.

The drill results reported today include the discovery of a new upper gold zone. This zone was intersected in two different drill holes, yielding grades of 0.8% copper (Cu), 0.67 grams-per-tonne (g/t) gold (Au), and 6 g/t silver (Ag) over 6.54 metres (m). Notably, one intercept included 5.2 g/t Au over 0.67m within AM-26-03, and another returned 3% Cu, 1.11 g/t Au, and 61 g/t Ag over 3.02 m within AM-26-05.

The 2026 drilling aimed to follow up on the 2024 discovery of a high-grade gold zone in drill hole AM-24-06. That hole yielded a single 0.84 m sample assaying 35.1 g/t Au (1.02 oz/ton) from a depth of 157.36-158.20 m. This zone was found below the vertical projection of “3 Zone” mineral resources, approximately 40 m below the pit shell, and 120 m vertically from the surface. Drill hole AM-24-01, collared 120 m east of AM-24-06, intersected the same mineralized zone, returning a broad copper-gold interval grading 2.4% Cu, 0.68 g/t Au, and 35 g/t Ag over 17.4 m, including 4.1% Cu, 0.95 g/t Au, and 60 g/t Ag over 8.4m.

The recently released assay results confirm the presence of locally high-grade gold mineralization within multiple horizons at Alwin. To date, two gold horizons have been identified, with significant gold intercepts recorded in at least five separate drill holes. These gold zones correlate with established copper lodes modeled within the current Alwin mineral resource. Given the established copper continuity, these represent low-risk targets for further drill delineation of a gold subset of mineralization that is still in the early stages of exploration.

Drill holes AM-26-01 and AM-26-02, which targeted mineralization west of AM-24-06 and deep copper zones north of the historic “3 Zone” below the resource pit shell, returned assays of 1% Cu over 5.1 m, including 2.5% Cu and 19 g/t Ag over 1.85 m (AM-26-01). Drill hole AM-26-02 yielded 0.6% Cu, 0.20 g/t Au, and 11 g/t Ag over 6.4 m, including 3.5% Cu, 1.35 g/t Au, and 73 g/t Ag over 0.9m. Drill hole AM-26-04 was abandoned at a depth of 33 m due to deviation and is not included in the reported 1,155 metres.

“With the discovery of a second zone of high-grade gold mineralization at the Alwin Mine Project, we have delivered on the key goal of the Company’s 2026 drill campaign,” said Simon Dyakowski, CEO of GSP. “Gold has now been intersected in multiple horizons and in five separate holes, in each case alongside the high-grade copper lodes that make up the current resource. These results point to a gold-primary subset of mineralization at Alwin that is only beginning to be understood, and that carries meaningful resource upside alongside the well-established copper. Looking ahead, we are eagerly awaiting assays from the four holes drilled this summer at our Mer Porphyry Copper Target – the first drilling on that target in over fifty years. Mer is a new, early-stage porphyry copper opportunity within the Highland Valley Copper Camp and gives GSP a second avenue for discovery alongside the high-grade mineralization at Alwin. With copper trading near record prices, this is an exciting time for the Company.”

The Alwin Mine Copper-Silver-Gold property spans approximately 344 hectares and is located in south-central British Columbia. The historic underground mine, developed over 500 m long by 200 m wide by 300 m deep, operated between 1916 and 1981. During its operation, it produced 3,786 tonnes of copper, 2,729 kilograms of silver, and 46.2 kilograms of gold from five major subvertical high-grade copper mineralization zones, with an average diluted head grade of 1.5% copper. The Alwin Project is adjacent to the western boundary of Teck Resources’ Highland Valley Mine, one of western Canada’s largest open-pit porphyry copper-molybdenum mines. The alteration and mineralization of the Highland Valley hydrothermal system extend westward from the Highland Valley mine onto the Alwin Project.

Analytical work was performed by ALS Global in Vancouver, Canada, an ISO-IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015 accredited laboratory. GSP Resource Corp. adheres to industry-standard procedures for its work on the Alwin Mine Project, including a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program involving the insertion of blank, duplicate, and standard samples. No significant QA/QC issues were detected by GSP Resource Corp. during the review of the data.
