Spartan Metals Engages SMI to Advance U.S. Federal Program Support for Critical Minerals Projects

Vancouver, Canada, June 11, 2026 — June 11, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Spartan Metals Corp. announced it has engaged Strategic Marketing Innovations, Inc. (SMI) for a 12-month period to support its Victorio Tungsten-Molybdenum and Eagle Tungsten-Silver-Rubidium Projects with U.S. federal program funding. The engagement aims to position Spartan for potential support and funding from U.S. federal programs related to critical minerals.

Brett Marsh, Spartan’s President and CEO, stated that the addition of SMI is a significant step in advancing opportunities within the U.S. critical minerals ecosystem. He highlighted SMI’s experience in assisting companies that engage with federal agencies and access programs designed to accelerate domestic supply chains for strategically important materials.

With increasing government backing for critical minerals, including tungsten, through initiatives led by the Department of Defense and Department of Energy, SMI’s expertise will help Spartan explore potential government programs, funding mechanisms, and strategic initiatives. Spartan is eager to utilize SMI’s experience to strengthen its position as a potential contributor to North America’s secure tungsten supply.

Since 1993, SMI has offered comprehensive government relations services, focusing on federal policy, appropriations, and marketing. The firm employs 50 Senior Advisors, predominantly former high-level government officials and scientists, who possess extensive access and expertise across various government agencies and programs. SMI maintains key relationships with senior officials and program managers within multiple federal departments and agencies.

Over the past decade, SMI has successfully positioned clients for contract awards and secured substantial funding for numerous projects in areas such as advanced materials, additive manufacturing, semiconductor technology, and hypersonics. SMI’s policy expertise is broad, with a notable track record in national security, including successes within the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Spartan Metals focuses on developing critical minerals projects in established mining jurisdictions in the Western United States, aiming to build a portfolio of diverse strategic defense minerals. These include Tungsten, Rubidium, Antimony, Bismuth, and Arsenic.

The company’s project portfolio includes an option to acquire 100% of the Victorio Tungsten-Molybdenum Project in New Mexico and the 100% owned Eagle Tungsten-Silver-Rubidium Project in Nevada. The Victorio project contains the largest tungsten resource in the United States and significant concentrations of beryllium and fluorspar. The Eagle Project features the highest-grade historic tungsten resource in the USA, with substantial under-defined resources of high-grade silver, rubidium, antimony, bismuth, indium, as well as precious and base metals.
