Belmont Resources Inc. Announces Board of Directors Changes
Vancouver, British Columbia — October 15, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Belmont Resources Inc. (TSX-V: BEA) announced significant changes to its Board of Directors, including the immediate resignation of director and Chairman of the Board, Mr. George Sookochoff. Mr. Sookochoff will transition to an advisory role with the company.
The company has appointed Mr. Dennis Schwindt as the new Chairman of the Board, bringing extensive experience in engineering and the oil and gas industries. Mr. Schwindt joined HMS Bergbau AG, a commodities marketing company, in 2012, holding various leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and, since July 2020, Chief Executive Officer. HMS Bergbau AG is the majority shareholder of Belmont Resources Inc. The appointment of Mr. Schwindt is expected to strengthen the relationship with the principal shareholder and support the company’s strategic development.
Additionally, Dr. Michael Seeger has been appointed as a new independent director. Dr. Seeger is a mining engineer and finance specialist with over 30 years of international experience in mine development, project evaluation, construction, and financing, with a focus on copper and critical minerals. His career includes roles at Iscor Mining, participation in the Hillendale titanium operation, co-founding Universal Coal plc, and leading performance-improvement programs for companies like Newmont and AngloGold Ashanti. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of MX Mining Capital Partners GmbH, which arranges project financing for critical minerals projects.
