Ashley Gold Corp. Reports Field Visuals and Drilling Update Highlighting Potential Extensions of D99Z Zone

CALGARY, ALBERTA — October 15, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Ashley Gold Corp. (CSE: ASHL) has announced promising field visuals and an update on its ongoing drilling program at the Tak Project. Recent grab samples have yielded highs of 22.2 grams per tonne of gold, indicating potential surface extensions of the D99Z zone, which remains open in all directions.

The drilling update reveals that three out of eight completed holes have intercepted suspected visual gold. Assays are pending to confirm these findings. All eight holes in the infill program, conducted between the 67Z and D99Z zones, intercepted varying degrees of mineralized quartz-feldspar porphyry (QFP) and stockwork systems. The scope of the program has been expanded and is expected to conclude after the tenth hole is completed.

Next steps include the completion of logging and cutting of the Phase IV holes, as well as the finalization of drilling for this phase. President Noah Komavli expressed gratitude for the drilling company’s execution of the expanded scope over the Thanksgiving weekend and acknowledged the efforts of contractors and management on the ground. He emphasized that the data from the infill campaign will be crucial for modeling the system’s extent, with current visuals being highly encouraging.

The Tak Project, situated northeast of the Goliath Gold Complex, has seen intermittent exploration since the 1900s by notable companies like Lac Minerals and Cominco. Historically, only 11 holes were recorded within the patented boundary before the project lay dormant for 24 years until acquired by Ashley Gold Corp. in 2026.

In 2026, Ashley Gold Corp. commissioned the first modern IP survey, which highlighted a resistive body over 1 kilometer long. The company engaged 518 Drilling Ltd. for its exploration efforts. Three high-priority zones have emerged: D99Z, where surface mineralization is estimated at over 80 meters wide; 67Z, which has seen historical intercepts including significant gold grades over notable widths; and NTZ, which comprises five trenches and has yielded high-grade gold samples up to 398 g/t Au through prospecting.

Detailed historical exploration records trace back to the 1940s with Long Lac Minerals, followed by Cominco in the 1980s. Triex Resources conducted significant work in the late 1990s, including drilling and assaying up to 29,790 ppb Au. Southern Rio Resources optioned the property in 2002, drilling eight holes and outlining mineralization over approximately 350 meters of strike length.

Ashley Gold Corp. acquired 100% ownership of the Tak Patents in January 2026. Subsequent exploration in 2026 included an IP survey, mobilization for drilling, and the completion of Phase 1 diamond drilling. Assay results from Phase 1 confirmed and validated near-surface mineralization in the D99Z zone, with significant gold intervals reported. Further drilling in Phase II and III also yielded multiple gold-bearing zones and high-grade encounters. A drilling discovery in TAK-26-16 reported a high-grade, visible gold encounter of 229 g/t Au.

The technical information in this news release was reviewed and approved by Shannon Baird, P.Geo., Exploration Manager of Ashley Gold Corp. The company cautions that some results discussed are historical and may not be reliable, though they are believed to provide an indication of the project’s potential. Core visuals are preliminary and await lab assay confirmation, and grab samples are selective by nature. Information disclosed from nearby properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization on the subject property.

Ashley Gold Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on acquiring and developing prospective gold and polymetallic deposits in Canada. Its flagship assets are in the Dryden Area in Ontario and in British Columbia.
