Leocor Mining Commences VTEM Survey at Copper Creek Prospect Following Successful Drilling

Vancouver, British Columbia — July 28, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Leocor Mining Inc. has announced the commencement of a VTEM tm Plus airborne electromagnetic survey at its Copper Creek prospect, located within the company’s 2,002-hectare Baie Verte gold-copper exploration package in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The survey is being conducted by Geotech Ltd. and follows up on Leocor’s 2025 drilling campaign, which identified stockwork chalcopyrite mineralization interpreted as feeder-type mineralization of a Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) system. The previous drilling also identified anomalous zinc mineralization and lenses of massive and semi-massive pyrite, hallmarks of VMS systems.

Alex Klenman, CEO of Leocor, stated that the company is pleased to begin the survey at Copper Creek following the success of its maiden drill campaign. “We remain committed to a disciplined, systematic exploration approach and believe this survey will play an important role in identifying additional high-priority targets. Our Baie Verte project is in a highly prospective district, and we look forward to advancing exploration there,” Klenman added.

Geotech’s proprietary VTEM™ Plus system is a helicopter-borne time-domain electromagnetic technology designed to map subsurface variations in electrical conductivity and magnetic susceptibility. It is particularly effective for VMS exploration as sulfide minerals like chalcopyrite and pyrite exhibit strong electrical conductivity contrasts with host rocks. The VTEM™ Plus system can penetrate depths of up to 500 meters.

The Baie Verte Peninsula has a history of VMS mines. The project area’s geology includes mafic volcanic and metasedimentary sequences within the Notre-Dame Subzone of the Dunnage Zone, characteristic of a volcanic arc environment conducive to VMS deposit development. Notable past-producing mines in this subzone include Terra Nova, Rambler, and Tilt Cove Mines.

David Murray, P.Geo., Principal Consultant at Resourceful Geoscience Solutions and a consultant to Leocor, is an Independent Qualified Person who has reviewed and approved the technical information in this release. The technical information is also referenced in a 1983 publication by J. Hibbard regarding the geology of the Baie Verte Peninsula.

Leocor Mining Inc., formerly Leocor Gold Inc., is a British Columbia-based resource company focused on acquiring and exploring precious metal projects, primarily in Atlantic Canada. The company controls several gold-copper projects in the Baie Verte Mining District through ownership and earn-in agreements. Its Baie Verte portfolio includes the Dorset, Dorset Extension, Copper Creek, and Five Mile Brook projects, forming a contiguous ~2,000-hectare exploration corridor.
