South Atlantic Gold Reports Significant Gold Intersections from Pedra Branca Project Drilling

Kelowna, British Columbia — October 15, 2026 — Leads & Copy — South Atlantic Gold Inc. reported new assay results from its Pedra Branca Gold Project in Ceará State, northeast Brazil, highlighting significant gold mineralization at the Igrejinha and Queimadas targets. The company also announced the completion of its approximately 5,000-meter diamond drilling program at the 100%-owned project.

At Igrejinha, the first diamond drilling results revealed a gold-bearing quartz vein beneath a previously trenched area. Hole 26DDIGR005, drilled below trench PBTR009 which returned 7.04 meters at 6.19 g/t gold, yielded 6.55 meters at 2.28 g/t gold, including 4.80 meters at 3.06 g/t gold. This interval contained visible gold observed at 38.1 meters, with a 1-meter sample assaying 12.75 g/t gold. A second hole, 26DDIGR013, drilled 28 meters away, returned 8.00 meters at 1.21 g/t gold, including 5.00 meters at 1.85 g/t gold.

The Queimadas target also showed promising results, with two holes drilled approximately 530 meters apart intersecting broad zones of gold mineralization. Hole 26DDQUE009 returned a significant zone of 45.00 meters at 0.40 g/t gold, which included 7.15 meters at 1.21 g/t gold, along with two other mineralized zones. Hole 26DDQUE004, located 530 meters to the southwest, intersected 24.00 meters at 0.63 g/t gold, including 5.00 meters at 1.17 g/t gold. Hole 26DDQUE001, the longest hole drilled on the project to date at 250.60 meters, ended in mineralization, returning 3.60 meters at 0.48 g/t gold, indicating the Queimadas gold system extends at depth.

Two distinct styles of mineralization have been observed: gold in white quartz veins at Igrejinha and Mirador, and gold in sulphide-rich zones at Queimadas. The company noted that assay results are still pending for a significant portion of the program, including all seven holes at Mirador and unassayed intervals from other Igrejinha and Queimadas holes.

The current drilling program was designed to further test Queimadas for strike and depth extensions, to drill the Igrejinha target for the first time with diamond holes, and to drill Mirador. The Pedra Branca project encompasses over 52,000 hectares and hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 4.0 million tonnes grading 1.38 g/t gold for approximately 180,000 ounces. This resource is defined at three targets: Queimadas, Igrejinha, and Mirador.

Douglas Meirelles, President and CEO of South Atlantic Gold, commented that the initial results are shaping the understanding of gold distribution, suggesting gold may occur in plunging shoots at Igrejinha, which will guide future drilling. He also noted that the presence of sulphides at Queimadas, combined with an induced polarization survey, should aid targeting. The company is also preparing for follow-up mapping and trenching at the Cachoeirinha and Barra Nova targets.

Structural interpretations suggest that the gold at Pedra Branca is structurally controlled, with mineralization potentially introduced or remobilized during a second deformation event. This interpretation emphasizes the geometry and plunge of mineralized shoots as key targeting criteria.

Upcoming catalysts include assay results from the remaining drill core, trench results from Igrejinha and Mirador, and further mapping and trenching at Cachoeirinha and Barra Nova. The company is also working on an update to the Mineral Resource estimate.
