Plaid Technologies Inc. Provides Update on Management Cease Trade Order
VANCOUVER, BC – August 13, 2026 – Leads & Copy – Plaid Technologies Inc. (CSE: STIF) (OTC: STIFF) (FRA: 5QX0) announced an update regarding the management cease trade order (MCTO) issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission on July 30, 2026. The MCTO was granted under National Policy 12-203, which addresses cease trade orders for continuous disclosure defaults.
The Company had previously announced on July 30, 2026, that it would experience a delay in filing its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, along with the accompanying management’s discussion and analysis and related CEO and CFO certificates. This delay extended beyond the period prescribed by Canadian securities laws.
Plaid Technologies Inc. stated that it and its auditor are diligently working to complete the required filings as soon as possible. The MCTO will remain in effect until these filings are submitted.
During the period the MCTO is active, the general investing public will still be able to trade the Company’s common shares. However, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and directors will be prohibited from trading the Company’s common shares.
The Company confirmed that there are no material changes to the information previously disclosed in its default announcement, other than what is detailed in the current update. Plaid Technologies Inc. intends to adhere to the provisions of NP 12-203 and will continue to provide bi-weekly default status updates as long as the required filings remain outstanding.
