Cascade Copper Mobilizes Drill for Maiden Program at Centrefire Copper-Gold Project

Vancouver, British Columbia — June 16, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Cascade Copper Corp. (CSE: CASC/FRA: 91O) has mobilized a drill crew for a maiden, minimum 600-metre diamond drilling program at its Centrefire Copper-Gold Project, located 40 kilometres from Dryden, Ontario. The contractor is expected to begin drilling the first hole within a week of mobilization.

The drilling at Centrefire will focus on priority copper-gold Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) targets. These targets were identified through inversion modelling of geophysics, historic drilling, and sampling of surface mineralization. A previous press release on May 11 outlined the priority drill targets.

Jeffrey Ackert, President and CEO of Cascade Copper, stated, “The arrival of the drill at Centrefire represents a landmark moment for Cascade Copper, marking the Company’s first drill program and the transition from project evaluation to discovery.” He added, “Our technical team has completed extensive groundwork and modelling to define priority targets, and we are eager to begin testing the Centrefire VMS system. This program is an important step in our strategy to advance high-quality copper projects in Canada and create long-term value for our shareholders. We look forward to reporting results as drilling advances.”

The first drill hole will be situated adjacent to a forestry access road, allowing the drill to be unloaded on the road and quickly positioned at the initial collar location. All planned holes in the campaign are within tens of metres of the forestry road network. This proximity is expected to result in minimal environmental disturbance, provide easy access for the contractor and Cascade’s technical team, and significantly reduce mobilization costs.

Shannon Baird, P.Geo., Vice President Exploration of Cascade Copper Corp., prepared and approved the technical information presented in the news release. Mr. Baird is a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101 and is registered as a Professional Geoscientist with the Professional Geoscientists of Ontario and the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

Cascade Copper utilizes modern technologies, including 3D inversion modelling of geophysics, LiDAR elevation models, and AI-enhanced Predictive Modelling, incorporating both historic and modern data inputs. Drilling is planned for several of its copper-gold targets this year. The company holds five projects: the Copper Plateau Copper-Moly Project, the Centrefire Copper-Gold Project, the Rogers Creek Copper-Gold Project, the Fire Mountain Copper-Gold Project, and the Bendor Gold-Tungsten Project.
