Copper One Resources Corp. Reports Identification of New Copper-Mineralized Zone at Redonda Project

Vancouver, BC – October 16, 2026 – Leads & Copy – Copper One Resources Corp. announced the visual identification of a new copper-mineralized zone during its ongoing diamond drilling program at its 100%-owned Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project on West Redonda Island, British Columbia. The new zone was observed in step-out drill hole RED-26-04, located approximately 600 metres northeast of the property’s main mineralized area.

Semi-massive chalcopyrite and magnetite, indicative of copper mineralization, were visually identified at approximately 171.30 metres downhole in RED-26-04. These preliminary observations are subject to laboratory analysis for confirmation of presence and grade.

David Greenway, President and Chief Executive Officer of Copper One, described the discovery as an exciting development that highlights the exploration potential of the Redonda project. He noted that encountering semi-massive chalcopyrite and magnetite in RED-26-04 is particularly encouraging for understanding the scale and distribution of mineralization across the property. Greenway added that this new zone offers another compelling area for the geological team to investigate, reinforcing confidence in the project’s broader exploration potential.

Drill hole RED-26-04 is being drilled at an inclination of -52 degrees and is planned to reach a total depth of approximately 200 metres. Its objective is to investigate mineralization northeast of the main zone and gather additional geological information to support the ongoing evaluation of the Redonda system.

The company also reported the completion of drill hole RED-26-03 to a total depth of 234.69 metres, drilled at an inclination of -75 degrees. Visual observations from RED-26-03 included fine-grained molybdenite filling interstitial spaces in a short breccia zone at approximately 127 metres downhole.

The Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project is situated within British Columbia’s Coast Suture Zone, a region known for porphyry copper mineralization. The current drill program is focused on testing priority targets developed through the integration of historical exploration data, airborne geophysics, recent field mapping, and geological interpretation. The 2026 exploration strategy is guided by the technical report on the Redonda Property prepared by W.B. Lennan, P.Geo., filed in March 2026, who has reviewed and concurs with the program’s objectives, targets, and design.

Copper One has engaged Paradigm Drilling Ltd. to execute the program, utilizing a Boyles T-75 hydraulic, track-mounted diamond drill equipped with NQ tooling. The Redonda project consists of nine mineral claims covering approximately 2,746 hectares (6,786 acres) on West Redonda Island. Historical exploration, including drilling by Teck Resources Ltd. in 1979, has identified multiple copper-molybdenum mineralized zones that remain open along strike and at depth.

Recent field observations have also identified a potential previously unrecognized mineralized zone along a historic logging road east of the main trend, which will be systematically mapped and sampled and may become an additional drill target pending analytical results.

Copper One is committed to collaborative engagement with the Klahoose First Nation throughout the 2026 exploration campaign, prioritizing local employment, training opportunities, and the utilization of Klahoose-owned businesses. This commitment includes engaging a Klahoose member for core splitting and utilizing the Klahoose crew boat for marine transportation. The company will maintain ongoing communication with Klahoose regarding exploration activities and adhere to cultural heritage protocols and environmental best practices.

The Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project is a district-scale porphyry copper-molybdenum exploration project situated within the Coast Suture Zone. The project area is cut by several intrusive phases, with copper-molybdenum mineralization most concentrated along a hornblende dike, particularly within brecciated zones. The geological setting shares characteristics with nearby porphyry systems such as the OKover copper-molybdenum deposit and the Gambier Copper deposit.

Scientific and technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Larry Segerstrom, M.Sc. (Geology), CPG, a non-independent consulting geologist to the Company and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

The Company has entered into an Extension Agreement with Gold Standard Media, LLC (GSM) extending their existing agreement by six months to June 19, 2027, and increasing the aggregate compensation payable by US$500,000 to US$1,500,000. GSM’s principal is Kenneth Ameduri.

Copper One Resources Corp. focuses on identifying, acquiring, and advancing high-potential copper projects globally. In addition to the Redonda project, the Company’s portfolio includes the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold District in Nevada, an option to earn interest in the Redhill Property in British Columbia, the Sport Project in Utah, and the Sword & Gossan Mineral Properties in Newfoundland and Labrador.
