Au Gold Corp Engages Geomorphic AI for Drill Targeting Validation and Project Generation in Victoria, Australia

Vancouver, British Columbia — October 27, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Au Gold Corp (TSXV:AUGC) has engaged Geomorphic AI Corporation to independently validate drill targeting at its 100%-owned Havelock Gold-Antimony Project in Victoria, Australia. Geomorphic AI, a private North American AI-driven minerals prospect generator, will also utilize its proprietary AI agents to identify other high-potential gold projects in the Victorian Goldfields for potential acquisition by Au Gold Corp.

The Havelock Project spans 11,663 hectares in a region that has historically produced over 80 million ounces of gold. It is located approximately halfway between Bendigo and Ballarat and is in proximity to significant gold deposits, including Agnico Eagle’s Fosterville Mine and Southern Cross Gold Consolidated’s Sunday Creek discovery. The project area is known to host gold-antimony systems that extend to depths below historical mining operations.

Within the Havelock Project lies the 9 km Shaw-McFarlane Trend (SMT), an area that has not yet been drilled. Historical records indicate hard-rock gold production from the SMT of approximately 17,097 ounces at an average grade of 28.7 g/t gold between 1864 and 1891. The deepest historical workings on the SMT reached only 500 feet (152 m), with other mines on the trend worked to less than 350 feet (107 m). This historical information predates current NI 43-101 standards, and no mineral resources currently exist on the project.

Marc Blythe, Au Gold Founder and Chief Executive Officer, stated that Havelock has extensive historical mining records. The company has reconstructed long sections of main historical mines along the central portion of the Shaw-McFarlane Trend to guide its upcoming drill campaign. He added that Geomorphic AI provides a method to combine and validate all project information, both old and new, within a consistent, auditable framework, allowing for target ranking with supporting evidence. This discipline is crucial for the company’s first modern drill holes at Havelock, as Geomorphic’s platform will enable rigorous testing of the historical record and refinement of targeting parameters.

Geomorphic’s work on Au Gold’s Havelock and Ponderosa projects will commence with a search for new data. This includes scanning government and public archives for historical exploration and mining records not currently in Au Gold’s database. This recovered information will be combined with Au Gold’s existing surface and geophysical data. Geomorphic will then produce geological syntheses and provide Au Gold’s technical team with a ranked portfolio of targets, each accompanied by supporting evidence, confidence levels, and criteria for disproving them. Targets will be re-ranked as new results become available.

Concurrently, Geomorphic will conduct a project generation program across Victoria. Using its platform, it will screen the state’s public geological, geochemical, and historical mining records to identify new gold exploration projects on lands not currently held by Au Gold. Any new projects identified will be presented to Au Gold for evaluation, with the company retaining sole discretion over acquisition.

Mark Sumner, Geomorphic AI Chief Executive Officer, commented that Havelock is an ideal project for their platform. He noted that the Victorian Goldfields possess an exceptional historical archive, but the records were created by various entities to different standards. Geomorphic’s role is to make this record auditable, demonstrate what the evidence supports, and provide Au Gold’s geologists with targets that can be questioned, refined, and ultimately drill tested.

Under the terms of the agreement, Geomorphic will provide data compilation and validation, geological synthesis, and target generation and ranking for Au Gold’s Havelock and Ponderosa projects. It will also conduct a project generation program to identify new gold exploration projects in Victoria. Au Gold may acquire any new project identified by Geomorphic by granting a 2% net smelter returns royalty on each acquired project within five years of its delivery. This royalty will not apply to the Havelock or Ponderosa projects or other mineral rights already held by Au Gold.

In relation to the agreement, Au Gold has granted 250,000 stock options to Geomorphic. These options are exercisable at $0.28 per share for five years from the grant date, issued under the company’s stock option plan and subject to TSX Venture Exchange policies.

Technical information within this press release was prepared under the supervision of Mr. William Wengzynowski, P.Eng., AuGC’s Exploration Manager and a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.

Au Gold Corp will be exhibiting at the 52nd Annual New Orleans Investment Conference from October 28-31, 2026, and VRIC Vancouver from January 24-25, 2027.

Au Gold Corp is a gold exploration company focused on advancing its Havelock gold-antimony project in Australia and its Ponderosa gold project in British Columbia, Canada. Further information is available at www.AuGoldCorp.com.
