BRS Resources and Cariboo Rose Announce 2026 Plans for Cowtrail Copper-Gold Project

Vancouver, BC — April 17, 2026 — Leads & Copy — BRS Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: BRS) and Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: CRB) have announced their 2026 plans for the Cowtrail porphyry copper-gold project, situated in the Cariboo region of British Columbia.

The Cowtrail project, which spans 4,717-hectares (11,650 acres), is located in south-central BC, bordering the Woodjam copper-gold porphyry project owned by Vizsla Copper Corp. (TSX-V: VCU).

For 2026, diamond drilling, ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 meters, is slated for the Lea Lake target area. Drill intercepts from this year that will be built upon include CT23-16, which showed 0.15% copper and 0.120 g/t gold over 105.0 meters (drilled in 2023), and CT25-23, which showed 0.20% copper and 0.100 g/t gold over 70.0 meters (drilled in 2025). Further land-based and/or airborne geophysics are also planned, pending contractor availability.

BRS Resources Ltd. and Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. have amended the Cowtrail option agreement, extending its term by one year to December 19, 2027. The total cash payments ($200,000), share issuances ($200,000 value of) and exploration expenditures ($2,000,000) required to earn a 60% interest remain unchanged.

J.W. (Bill) Morton, P.Geo., a Director of Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. and a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release.

A qualified person has verified the disclosed date, including sampling, analytical, and test data.
